SHORTS
Many of you have heard me talk about my great love of McDavid compression pants and leg sleeves...they were my saving grace during the Olathe 1/2 marathon and my WONDERFUL recovery tool post San Diego...seriously it's true love my friends.
Now because of Joey at McDavid I was also lucky enough to get some women's compression shorts...which the current injuries have limited my use of but I am like white on rice now with these babies...so of course I would like to share!!! McDavid Compression Shorts
I have 2 size small compression shorts to share with you folks, for the low low price of a comment about your current favorite piece of running apparel.
**Please note that a size small is seriously small...like maybe a size 0-2...possibly a 4, but they don't fit me folks I need a medium.

SOCKS
Last year was the first time I truly realized how important socks could be to your runninng... I mean yeah I'm on my feet for 4 hours, but isn't it just my shoes that matter. No my friends it is not. DryMax was my first introduction to sweet sweet cushion...but I'm not afraid to venture out and after hearing some folks talk about Balega it was time to see if the hype measured up.
First up were the Lady Enduro socks...overall I'm a big fan, they are soft and cushy and do all the right things to make my feet feel FABUUUUU. My only complaint is that for me personally the sock is just a little to high, I like the lower one's...which would be the second pair and my total FAV that I tried out.
Ha! Tell me you don't love the top of these socks!! They were so soft it felt like putting on slippers and very low cut, but with the small tab in the back so that you wouldn't rub your heel if they slipped a bit. Yeah perfection.
So for you my friends I have 2 pairs of Balega Enduro Women's running sock is a size Small (6-8 shoe size) and for another winner 2 pairs Balega Enduro Women's running socks in size Medium (8.5-10.5)... that's right you big old feet people like me size 11...are SOL.

My favorite socks are Balega, that is all I wear. I would love to win the Medium Balega socks!
Great give-a-ways! My favorite socks are wrightsocks, and my favorite piece of running apparel... hmm... I just discovered capri tights this year (nothing special - just champion brand from target), and I think they're pretty great.
Currently my favorite running apparel is extra long tanks (why did it take me so long to find these?) and my favorite socks are under armour brand, so comfy! Lovely giveaway!
My favorite (and only) pair of running socks are the Balega that my hub got me for Valentine's day. Now they're my lucky socks for race days.
He got them in Philly, & I really should just have him pick me up a few more pairs.
As tall as you are, I would've had to hunt you down if you fit into a size 0-2 ;)
Sweet about the compression shorts. My current favorite piece of running apparel is my sprts bra. It is just a plain C9 seamless sports bra with think straps and a cross back. It is so comportable and I have no chaffing issues!

My absolute favorite socks are Balega as well. It took me some time to get used to them (they seemed slippery in my runners), but now I'm a total convert. Love them!
Disney marathon 2008: I forgot to pack socks. Seriously, who does that? There was a balega table at the expo, so I bought a pair. OMG were the the best socks EVER!! I've about worn holes in them, so I need new ones!! I would love to win the medium socks (big foot size 10 here!)

Fun giveaway! My favorite socks are a pair that I won when I finished as the fastest woman in my second 5k race. They are the local running shop's brand and super light and comfy, but mostly I just love that they represent a PR and a victory for me!
My favorite piece of running gear is my Oiselle sports bra! I got it through MizFits blog last summer and it kind of became my "lucky" sports bra, I wear it in all my races now... I should really buy another one. :)
Do hats count as apparel or is that gear? I have an underarmour hat that I wear on my runs and that thing if freaking awesome. It keeps my head from getting a sunburn and keeps the sun and sweat out of my eyes. Best thing is that I can toss in the washer and dryer to clean.
My fave socks right now are just basic Old Navy athletic socks. They are cheap and keep my feet dry!
I'm definitely going to check out the compression socks!
Those shorts would only fit me in my dreams, but I'd love to win the size medium socks!
I haven't tried Balega socks (in fact, I've never seen them around here) but I checked out the website and the technology looks great! I love the seamless toe pocket.

I love my Balega Lady Enduro socks! They keep my feet from getting too hot down here in the deep south summer.
Hey chica ;) I made my monster this morning with 1 cup spinach, 1 banana, 1/2 cup milk, 1 tablespoon of the powder and I really liked it! I tried it first with only a half banana and it was tooooo grassy, I found I needed the whole banana. Thank you again :)

Ooh, Balega socks sound awesome! I only have socks that I got in packs (Nike, Under Armour, etc.), so I'm looking for "the pair" of socks, especially since most of mine aren't cutting it for marathon training. I like my pair of double-layer Wright socks, but they're too thick for the summer heat. Boooo!

I got a free pair of Asics socks from SELF magazine, and I love them!
Great giveaways!! My favorite running gear is simple, the Nike Tempo shorts. They are cut just right for women and I love the little hidden pocket. The pocket is big enough for a key and a gel/shot block if needed. :)
I love that the Balega socks say they have a deep heel, I HATE socks that slide down when I'm running. Those socks sound like they would fit me perfectly (I'm a size 9 lol).

My favorite running apparel in the summer are light, sleeveless tops. Very breathable and comfy. In the winter I love running tops with little mittens on the ends of the sleeves that you can pull over your hands when they get cold.
I have Balega socks but I have to say my all time favorite socks are SmartWool.

I love the meaning of the word 'Balega' - to move with speed. Nice! I've never thought much about my socks and wear cheap Target cotton blend ones. But I would love to 'move with speed' in those Medium Balega socks! Thanks for the give-away!
My current favorite piece of gear is my Moving Comfort tank top. It is supportive enough that I do not have to wear a sports bra under. Plus, it has a huge back pocket. How I need new socks, my big toe always go through mine.

i never invest money into running apparel, because my shoes are always so expensive! i did get some new shorts the other day with built in underwear, and so far i like them! i bet these compression shorts would work even better though.
Wow, awesome! My favorite running apparel is my Wright anti-blister socks! I cannot and will not run without them. I used to get terrible blisters, but these socks are amazing. I can't say enough good things about them. I'd be a size small for socks :)
And my favorite piece of running apparel? That'd probably be my North Face hyperion tank. I love the fit, the color, and the wicking material is wonderful in the summer. The length is also perfect--I hate tanks that are too short! I'd love to win those compression shorts--I'm definitely a small (haha, I'm only 4'11) ;)

the socks i always wear are medium sized "feetures". they have a nice medium weight!
Fav running apparel: NikeFit shorty shorts. I don't think they are official volleyball shorts, but they are cut similar.
Socks: That Balega site is really well done. Fancy and flashy. I learned they sell woman-specific socks. I'm a ho for any product that makes a women's line.
I love anything from Under Armour, tops, shorts, socks. I might be biased because I live in Baltimore.

I love balega socks! And I'm embarrassed to admit this but I use to do my long runs in thick cotton socks- many painful blisters later the running pros at the local speciality running store let me in on a little secrete- socks make all the difference. I also like wrightsocks and am looking for Hilly Socks- but they seem to only be sold in Europe :( bummer.
Ok and now for my favorite appearal- brooks running hat. I can pull it down low so that I'm only focused on what's ahead. It helps me get into the zone when I run with a hat!

Balegas make me happy inside. I asked at Gary's what would be a good sock they said they sold more Balegas than anything so I went for it and now I am 5 pairs deep.
Also, in the past it has been hard for me to find shorts that didn't chaffe even with glide and I have been VERY pleased with my under amour ones no more bleeding :)
I'll have to go with my two saving graces - Zensah leg sleeves and Swiftwick socks!!

haha, i didn't realize the socks were also being given away! i think it'd be awesome if i won those since i just wear regular socks to go running. running socks are just too expensive! however, from the balega website, i learned about the cushioning for impact resistance, which sounds like it would be great for my poor shins!

In the summer I love thin socks they make my feet feel cool. Sole are my favourite the fit really snug.
Balega has been my favorite sock since I was converted about 3 years ago. I love my extra cushioned pair for longer runs...Never have wet feet and never get blisters.
My favorite peice of running apparel is my Brooks Motion Skort...I'm on my second one and in the right size this time. Apparently small is really medium, so I had to find an x-small. Perfect...compression short under a skirt, small pocket and adjustable cord for the waist.
My favorite socks are my nike ones, they're cushy without being too bluky. And they cover just enough of my ankle without being too "showy" you know? A girl's gotta look good.
My favorite piece of apparel is my north face shorts, short enough to make me want to run speedy in them and so light weight. And they're not too short, if you know what I mean.

My favourite pair of socks are an almost ready for retirement pair of New Balance nylon uglies. They were my first "real" pair of running socks and they totally changed my life (and the way I felt about running socks!).
I have been eyeing those compression shorts - but just don't have the budget for the right now! My favourite piece of running apparel is probably my Falke light-weight jacket. It rocks so hard and is so great it different temps. It's getting so darn stinky, though, after only two years of serious wear.
The shorts would only fit me after I've died and lost some *significant* flesh, but I'm in for the socks. I currently wear some kind of Pearl Izumis, or whatever socks are thin and come to the top of the drawer. I think perhaps a decent pair of running socks would, pardon the pun, go far. Thanks!

I would love the shorts. Currently, my favorite piece of running gear is a shirt that I made with the saying, "There's beauty in imperfection." It just reminds me that I am not perfect, and that's okay. It's just a good motivation for me.
I would love to try some compression shorts. Currently, my favorite thing to run in are some Adidas Supernova shorts that I found on a clearance rack. They are the softest lightest shorts I have ever worn. They are made with something called Clima 365.
The socks I use now are the Ultimax Triathlon socks. They never give me blisters. They do seem a bit hot while running this summer though.
